Coffee has always been part of Estevan’s life. He grew up on Da Lagoa Farm, learning the craft from his family and continuing a tradition passed down through generations. Today, Estevan and his wife run the farm while raising their two children, managing both coffee production and dairy and beef cattle.

The farm sits at 1,100 metres above sea level and spans around 1,000 hectares, with 500 hectares planted with coffee. Varieties include Mundo Novo, Topazio, Paraíso 2, Yellow Catucaí and IPR 100.

Sustainability is central to how the farm operates. Practices include integrated pest management, biological controls, organic mineral fertilisers, spring conservation, renewable energy use and wildlife protection. The aim is simple: produce high-quality coffee while caring properly for the land.

In the cup, expect caramel sweetness, dark chocolate depth and a subtle note of forest berries that lifts the finish. It’s balanced, comforting and quietly complex.
