Baixao da Serra, Brazil
Espresso roast
A family farm that bet everything on quality
In 2011, Abner and Vanessa Carvalho sold their house to buy a small plot of land in Caldas, Brazil. Sítio Baixão da Serra is what came from that - just over two hectares, around 100 bags a year, and by 2021 one of the ten best specialty coffees in the entire Cooxupé cooperative harvest.
This particular lot is rich, full-bodied, and gently fruit-forward. The kind of natural sweetness that makes you want another cup before you've finished the first. We recommend it as an espresso.
